Recently I wrote my monthly article for South East Business\u00a0http:\/\/www.southeastbusiness.com\/print-edition\/december-2013<\/a>\u00a0in which I expressed my and indeed the IoD team’s concerns over whether the government was creating the conditions for another potentially damaging housing bubble in an attempt to gain a quick dash for growth.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well I expect that I wasn’t a lone voice on this because shortly afterwards there was an interesting development from the Bank of England \u00a0http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-25135805<\/a><\/p>\n

Hopefully we will see some measures in the forthcoming statement from the Chancellor to further assist real growth in the economy that’s sustainable.<\/p>\n
